Gas Furnaces last between 15 and 25 years.

2. Replace the air Filters:

Once you locate where the filters are, changing them is as simple as pulling out the old ones and sliding in the new ones. Before installing the new filters, write the date for future reference. There is no set time period for filter replacement as all homes air flow are different. It is a good idea to inspect them monthly-a little dusty? No big deal. Becoming restrictive-very bad! Change ’em.
